ANALISIS LINGKUNGAN KERJA DAN KOMUNIKASI ORGANISASI TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN DI PDAM TIRTANADI

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and organizational communication on employee performance at PDAM Tirtanadi. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews involving several employees from different divisions such as Human Resources, Finance, Production, and Customer Service. The informants were selected using purposive sampling, with criteria including at least one year of work experience and direct involvement in the company’s daily operations. The findings indicate that a comfortable, safe, and well-organized work environment plays a vital role in enhancing employees’ motivation and productivity. Moreover, effective organizational communication between supervisors and subordinates, as well as among coworkers, fosters a harmonious atmosphere and improves task performance. Both factors are interrelated and contribute significantly to the overall performance of PDAM Tirtanadi employees. The conclusion of this research reveals that a conducive work environment and open communication system significantly improve employee performance
